It's going to take a lot of adjustment on Trump's part before I will even consider that he's president. He ran on a platform of hate and won. The KKK are now out and proud and for some folks I've seen to say that it's foolish or somehow Unamerican not to be afraid, well I've had enough of having to tow the line.
That said, I'm not necessarily behind the current protests going on. He's been voted in by the large glut of people who bought his spiel and the deed is done. However if he and/or congress start to completely erode the progress Obama made when it comes to healthcare, LGBTQ rights, women's rights, then damn straight I'm going to do my part.
I find it ironic that we elected (TWICE) a black man as President...now we have a White Nationalist as Commander in Chief. The man can't tie his own shoes, read a sentence or form a coherent thought...and he is leading our country in three months time. I'm beyond bewildered, scared and heartbroken.
Trust me. Any progress made the last hundred years will be undone within the first hundred days. Between Trump and the Red Congressional House, it'll be gravy to them. UGH.
