Kinda craving something that would be considered a food horror
Posted this instagram of a way to get veggies in at breakfast. Multigrain/seed Asian bread, leftover garlic spinach around the outside, a super thin ring of mayo to keep the egg from seeping out and egg and faux parm on top. I baked in the air fryer. It was so good that I've had it for three breakfasts now, though I'm out of the spinach so I'll have to do something else tomorrow.
Anyhoo, Emily predictably commented "Eww" since she doesn't do eggs and such and I had a thought that I need to make and post something that'll really get her going. lol The Meals on Wheels folks deliver stuff to the parents that they love - I'm so glad that their doctor's office helped get them set up on that and I recently sent a big donation in their honor for it. One thing that Mom wanted to make that gets included in their meals sometimes is ambrosia salad (they do have them old midwestern people pegged). Yeah, it's all kinds of sugar but it's good. Made me think of other similar salads/desserts like that where we had them growing up and they are good summer munchies. So which one should I make?
Ambrosia Salad

Watergate Salad

Seafoam Salad aka "Fluff"

In any of them, I'll probably eliminate the marshmallows. I don't recall ever using them except in Waldorf Salad (which is not on here, that's for Thanksgiving!). They were ok in Waldorf since it didn't contain Cool Whip.
Which do you think? I'll eat any of them, though it might take me a while. Heh, maybe I'll horrify my coworkers and bring some in. Other recommendations for ones I may have forgotten are welcome!

I’ll be making the ambrosia first and yep, no marshmallows. I also use unsweetened coconut since everything else has plenty of sweetness
