I second your advice. I was very aneamic by the time the OB/GYB stopped fooling around with half measures and ripped out the uterous and fibroids, but I took a lot longer to bounce back than I did after the hip replacement.
My primary doctor blamed my fibromyalgia on the five years of being sole caregiver for two very sick parents while working full-time at a stressful job. Fortunately I had the hysterectomy and hip replacement before I had to start dealing with the parents' problems.
