Feelin' bleh

Gotta wonder how I managed to pick up a crud virus since I don't go out much and when I do, I'm masked. But if it's something like flu/cold/RSV, that tends to stay on surfaces more than COVID does, that could have been picked up when going to the bathroom and using other doors at work.

I did a COVID test just in case which came out negative. I also didn't seem to lose the sense of taste or smell and the only reason I have some mild breathing issues is because my head and throat are full of gunk. I also had a bit of a fever last night (99 and change when I usually run about 97) and also had some chills. At one point the chills hit me so hard and fast that my foot cramped.

That all started pretty quickly on Friday night and I still feel exhausted, achy and the nose is running like a faucet when I'm not occasionally sneezing. Good times.

I did get out to get groceries but since I'm actually concerned for others (unlike too damned many people nowadays), I did curbside no-contact pickup where they put the bags in the trunk and I drove home. It wore me out good, though.

So another day of napping, playing Sims and kitty tending

Considering the weather, staying home is probably healthier even if you aren't sick.

For congestion Traditional Medicinals Cold Care tea (used to be Gypsy Cold Cure, but they had to change the name) is very good. They also have a Throat Coat tea for sore throats.

They have some new herb and hemp ones, but I'm not sure about the CBT content.

I was wondering about you this morning when I saw a story on Sunday MOrnig about KPOP. Sorry to hear you are under the weather though. I'm sure your kitties are happy to have you all to themselves. Feel better!

Also what she said about the Traditional Medicines Tea. I love it, very soothing.
