Making progress
I finally got out yesterday and got my mail and went to HMart to get a few things from the prepped food section to get me through a few more days before FreshDirect can bring me a more full grocery order. Today I did some light cleaning and also made the cabbage & white bean soup that I'd been meaning to make last week until things went upside down. I used this recipe roughly and it turned out really good.

I have at least two meals for leftovers which will be handy
I'll be back to work tomorrow but if the back starts to stiffen, I'll leave earlier than normal. I'll also make sure to abide by the terms of my disability accommodation and rest when I get home before working from home in the afternoon. I'm going to take Wednesday off for a mid-week break since I'm not 100% yet.
I haven't decided whether to try to decorate at all for the holidays. Last year, Christmas was a complete bust and this year is well, yeah.

I hope the back holds up - maybe you can just string some lights around a window? Twinkly lights are the BEST!

Not sure if you get the significance of the lights?

I actually never find that I have issues with tears when cutting onions - I *think* it's because I usually keep my onions in the fridge?
