Um...this doesn't bode well

Ok, once Emily and I get moved and somewhat settled in, I need to schedule the surgery. I shouldn't be having spotting and stuff and it concerns me so just need to get through a couple more months-ish and hopefully I can get the works yanked out.

I certainly don't need the hassle of bloating and more low back pain because my system is all confused, either. Bah.

Be warned. You will have to watch yourself carefully after surgery and not overdo...You're not supposed to drive for 6 weeks and there's reasons why. That is how I ended up with Fibromyalgia bc I had surgery (1994) then we moved a month later. Whitney started kindergarten right away after we moved. She had just turned 5.
If you can get moved and settled in, then have the surgery.

But 2 wks post surgery, right before we moved, I had to drive to get milk bc I wasn't getting help from Mike. Whitney didn't have milk and he knew but he went to work without getting any. The grocery was a mile away.
I had spotting/bleeding, stomach pains... I was doing too much, lifting, driving... a few years later l had 2 Endometriosis surgeries. The adnesions were pulling bad on my intestines and organs, l had a bulge on one side of my abdoman where adhesions had built up into a ball.

The physical stress is what my Dr at the time said caused the Fibromyalgia. It took 3 yrs to get a dx of Fibro (1997) and during that time l was pushing hard all the time despite the increasing pain and fatigue.

I second your advice. I was very aneamic by the time the OB/GYB stopped fooling around with half measures and ripped out the uterous and fibroids, but I took a lot longer to bounce back than I did after the hip replacement.

My primary doctor blamed my fibromyalgia on the five years of being sole caregiver for two very sick parents while working full-time at a stressful job. Fortunately I had the hysterectomy and hip replacement before I had to start dealing with the parents' problems.
