Kitty tummy woes
JuneBug didn't have a very good day yesterday. I thought it was odd that when I went to give her morning treats, she jumped out of the bed attached to the window and hid under the bed for a good hour. I thought maybe that I spooked her and she thought she was going to the vet but it seems more likely she was hiding since she didn't feel well.
She finally came out and used the litterbox which was good and wanted squishy treats which I gave to her and the boy. I went to scoop the box and ugh....squishy poos. The night before there were a couple of poo nuggets on the mat outside the box and she had that the other day so since the boy had some small poos, I put a little Miralax in their food. This isn't a new thing but it could have been the thing perhaps combined with whatever they gave her for sedation or her sludgy gallbladder and/or unhappy pancreas that tipped the scales.
Then a while after that she vomited (and I have a rug and a cardboard scratcher to throw out this morning as a result). Then almost immediately after that, another squishy litterbox deposit. After the last one, she was wanting to eat right then but I thought it best to wait a bit to make sure she was more settled.
They usually eat about 2:30pm but at 1:30 she was begging again and since it had been a while, I gave her 1/4 of a can of food with some probiotic topper. She finished it off but didn't wolf it down like she did with the dinner after the vet yesterday. I'd never seen her eat so fast.
She wasn't interested in dinner with the boy about 2:45 and rested and then with their second meal at 4:45 she was somewhat more into it as long as I put tempting toppings. She ate about half a can then. She also ate normally overnight and was back to her usual snack pleading in the morning. She's not pooed or vomited again and I hope at least the latter doesn't happen. It wouldn't surprise me if she had some squishy deposits for another day or so.
I'm hoping to head off in about an hour Princeton bound to go to the pet store and grocery store. Fingers crossed no surprises today.

I tried one of the new food pouches on them when I got back and JonJon only ate about half (he has an issue trying to eat shreds LOL) but Junie ate nearly all of it. She did another small poo (actually formed so that's good) and now wants more food but I'm hoping I can get her to wait another hour to do dinner nearer to their usual time.
