Keeping myself out of trouble

Just watched a gut-wrencher of a movie - Philomena. I can see why Judi Dench was nominated for an Academy Award for it since damn...she reaches right in and twists. Had more than one of those times where your eyes tear up and you get that tight, burning feeling in your throat from emotion. It's based off a book of which I don't know if I'm up for even more of a depress-a-thon in trying to read it.

Besides, yesterday I started a book, A Place at the Table which by the parts I've read so far, I'm not expecting it to have a particularly happy ending but so far it's been rather interesting. It does feel like one of those books Oprah would approve of, though. I'm not one to go all Oprah Book Club but I wanted something different before going back to the usual cozy mysteries and young adult lit.

Well, it'll be a short one here as I'm now typing one handed due to this one
Needy JonJon
JonJon says hello and that he wants Mommy to pay attention to HIM. He's a bit more whiny than usual because he's a bit constipated. He had some pumpkin in his food this morning so hopefully it takes care of the problem. Though I predict he'll still be needy. Because that's how he rolls.

Not long after you posted this comment, the silly boy finally had a better poo. I noticed that the little dork clearly had been munching on too much lint from the kitty tree scratchings

Jon-Jon is such a cutie :D Glad you're finding lots of enjoyable reads. I'm still ploughing through my Agatha Christie haul. I have all she wrote (under Agatha Christie), including The Mousetrap and Other Plays, and I've had them since last Chrimble!

So it worked? Yay!

Oh yeah, pumpkin works fabulously when kitties are having poo problems. They don't mind me mixing a bit in to a couple of meals. Since he had some issues last week, I might go back to using it once a week for both kitties to keep them regular.

If he hadn't pooed yesterday, I was going to go out and get some "Cat Lax"

I wish I'd have brought the book to work! Bah!

I read a little Agatha Christie years ago but when it comes to mysteries, I like them a little more...um..."fluffy"? This is my favorite series since it has a bit of mystery, some witchcraft/magic and foooooood

One time Maggie had gone a few day without pooping and I called the vet ready to bring her right over and was on hold when she finally had a successful visit to the literbox.

I guess she really didn't want to go to the vet.
