Helpful idea for kitty with the wonky tum tum

The student who works for a vet said that one thing they stock and prescribe for kitties with tummy troubles is something called FortiFlora. It's not cheap but I'm definitely going to bring it up to see if they have it or will give me a script for it. I'd much rather a supplement for food she'll already eat rather than prescribing some Hills or something that she won't eat. Any fellow cat folks ever try it?

Looks like a probiotic powder that you sprinkle on her food. 30 doses for $27.99 on Pet360 I hope it fixes her tummy.

Amazon carries both the feline & canine formulas and the ingredients are pretty straight forward, basically a version of probiotics humans can take. My vet hooked me up on Amazon for a supplement that Tazz &Spike were on near the end...it was cool, he actually pulled it up on Amazon in the exam room and said not to buy it from the practice because it was almost triple what Amazon charged.

Pumpkin helps but not for long so hopefully they can either figure out what's up or hopefully the FortiFlora does the trick.

chewy.com has it a smidge cheaper and I get their food from chewy. I'm hoping that the vet has a packet or two they can sell me and if it works, I'll get it in a larger quantity online. This round of tummy upset has been persistent lately.
