Ok, so only one person knew what I was but that doesn't matter to me because it's something I like.

Sharice and Tish stopped by since they did the rounds. Hee!

Dan from our center downstairs came by since I told him I was going to do a little something. He goes to cons and made the costume he's wearing part of that the display on the face changes colors and patterns when he taps the claws together. Of course he knew my costume. LOL

I spent a hunk of change this morning on some good tickets to the Jingle Ball in Philly for Emily and I on Dec 11. Opted for a couple of seats in a box since it also includes a private potty and a place to get snacks/drinks. They'll UPS the tickets by Dec 4 to have in time. We still have to figure out travel and parking.

EDIT: Whoa! I just got an automated message from UPS that my Jingle Ball tickets will be arriving tomorrow! If they haven't tracked home by noon, I'll go work from home for the second half of the day so I get them right when they arrive. Not taking any chances.

EDIT: Though I am at least making a minimum effort on my favorite holiday today. I have on a long navy dress with blue/gray drapey sweater and am wearing my copper and clear bead diadem around my head, big dangly silver and bead earrings, a crystal necklace and this necklace

Obviously no one here gets the Harry Potter reference of it being the Deathly Hallows. Also, no one besides my friend Latisha at the front desk has commented on my attire. I'm thinking that it's because they assume I'm a witch observing the holiday. I'm fine with that (Veri and I had a brief Instagram discussion whether Jedi qualifies as a type of witchcraft. Han thinks so). Also, I stopped telling people that I was Rowena Ravenclaw going undercover as a muggle. Too tedious to explain to these non-Force possessing muggles

I am so tempted to gross out my coworkers by making this proscuitto-wrapped skull. It's just horribly wonderful!
