missdiane: (JonJon in Mommy's shoes)
I'm getting better steadily, still quirks but then in the middle of the night last night, poor JonJon started vomiting and also visiting the litterbox many many times with little bouts of diarrhea. I wondered if it was something he ate but JuneBug seemed ok. He did want some food a couple hours later and so I gave him a little baby food. He's kept that down so far but doesn't seem to want to get up and beg for morning treats. Probably for the best.

This morning JuneBug is currently somewhat congested and occasionally wheezy. She does get this now and then but it seems rather timely. Makes me wonder if they both have a bit of Covid. Hopefully it's short lived.

Since I slept little last night and am feeling pretty fuzzy, I threw in the towel on the work week since there's no way I'd be productive today and I need to get more sleep as I'm able while watching kitties so that I don't backslide myself.

Man, I'm all boosted and stuff and still have had just about every symptom on the long laundry list of options there are. Ugh! Also, the already iffy bladder is not liking the insane amount of sneezing I'm doing so I'm changing poise pads on the regular.

I ordered another 50 masks (will do more sensible rotating of them and not wearing them on consecutive days) and will find my hand sanitizers. I seriously don't get how after people have had this that they AREN'T masking? I'm going to do everything humanly possible not to ever get it again. Some folks will be all "hurr hurr, you going to wear masks outside for FOREVER?" Yep, pretty much. Get used to it. It does not strengthen your immune system to get Covid. It does exactly the opposite and my health is shitty enough already.

Thankfully though I still feel like hot garbage, I am feeling slightly less so today. If I possibly improve more, I'll WFH tomorrow. Right now the brain only functions in short spurts still.

Oh and curious - for those of you that have had this and lost your sense of taste and smell, how long did it take to come back? I've had colds where you can barely smell everything but this thing where it's like a switch turned things off is so bizarre. Though if I end up losing a few pounds from being disinterested in eating much, that will be one small positive. But I don't want the smell/taste to be gone for long.

I emailed Bosslady to let her know that I doubt I'll be feeling up to even WFH tomorrow but after that, I'll test again and also hopefully can WFH while I wait for the cooties to subside.
