Shortly before 4 freaking pm an email came out from USDA that after waiting for MONTHS, the requests for applications came out and when are they due? October 31 when I'm probably going to still be on leave. That and Kathleen on the extension side decided yesterday to be absolutely completely unhelpful about filing them FOR us so with Emily's help, all of the forms were filled in, checked and uploaded to grants.gov as of about 40 minutes ago. Though if the government shuts down, who knows when things will actually be due, but they're FREAKING DONE.

Well, guess I didn't have to sit and fret about tomorrow's surgery, I was too busy WORKING.

Bleh. I say. BLEH.
