Got the email from labcorp and popped up to check it and then checked the University Radiology tests even though I didn't yet get an email. The tech at the radiology place was pffting that fatty liver disease doesn't cause abdominal swelling (you a doctor?) I think she was giving me the vibes that I was wasting her time for getting Scanned Whilst Fat. I wish she was right.
LabCorp - not in range for the celiac test, however Immunoglobulin A (IgA), Serum is out of range on the high side
University Radiology abdominal ultrasound. So far kidneys, pancreas, spleen, aorta, look ok. Liver, however:
There is a hypoechoic mass in the right lobe of the liver measuring 16 x 17 x 21 mm. Another hypoechoic mass measures 46 x 22 x 51 mm. Liver is diffusely echogenic. IMPRESSION: Diffusely echogenic liver with 2 hypoechoic indeterminate masses. Malignancy including metastatic disease is not excluded. Further evaluation with contrast-enhanced CT scan of the abdomen or contrast-enhanced MRI of the liver is recommended for further evaluation.
Clearly more tests are going to be in my near future to see how bad this is. Abso-fucking-lutely delightful.
