I had my first telehealth appointment with a therapist through the Lyra program through work. She seemed super nice and helpful so hopefully she can get my anxiety under control since chemical means don't cooperate with my body.
I sent sis a message to get her new home address and it sounds like when she get back from her trip to Paris, she'll have to get an endoscopy since she's having reflux and eating issues. That sucks. She wanted me to meet them in NYC when they're heading back but that will probably be the week after Thanksgiving and either I'll tentatively be back to work or still dealing with the wound so I'll have to bow out.
But anyway, the title of this post. I'd seen that she suddenly was promoting a bunch of hair care products on her professional IG so I assumed that some company was sponsoring her. She sent me a message with a "deal" on stuff that would be good for my hair at some promotional price. I clicked on it and was considering it but then I got weirded out at the account creation thing. I mentioned it to Emily who went HELL NO, and knew about the company (Monat) - that it was an MLM. Not only an MLM but a failing MLM. Ughhhhhhhhh. Yeah, not going to buy, not going to promote, not going to participate. Sis, if you need a side gig to your supposedly super successful stylist career, get something less skeevy, ok? Blecch.
