Day two of the chocolate testing is up on YouTube at the link ->Here<-. There were some unexpected tastes in the next few.
Last evening, we walked the block and a half over to the Night Owl Market that the local community was hosting. Emily got some tanghulu and I got some tapas (hummus, grilled pita, olives, prosciutto). I also purchased a small wooden cutting board from a vendor to put in the area in front of the dish rack where I get JonJon's food ready. The counter kept looking nicked up so I wanted something to put over it and it was nice to support a small business.
Today as we were getting ready to repair the closet rack, outside the bedroom, the 3M hooks gave way and the curtains fell. Lately the 3M adhesive has SUCKED on any surface so I don't recommend it for anything now. It used to be my go-to for putting up pictures and hooks to hold lightweight curtains and not have to drill but lately it's all been a fail.
Tomorrow I have my regular blood tests (fingers crossed for improved cholesterol due to the statin alternative, it's the first test for that) and that my A1c is doing ok and all. I also have wound care right after that. Emily could barely get any of the Fibracol in today so that's good. I've had inflammation in the general area, though, which is common, but annoying. Hopefully good news tomorrow there.
