Your weather sounds kind of back and forth like ours is doing. We had a nice stretch of 70+ weather for three days in a row last week, the first since late September, only to have the temperature drop 20 or more degrees and start raining cats and dogs, again. And when it does warm up, as you said, there is no gradual getting used to it. Oh no. It's just "get used to the heat, NOW"! So I sure can sympathize with you.

Yeah, I feel for your neighbors. I've had to move in the rain and it's no picnic, I'll vouch for that.
