Evidently Mom's doctor's office was trying to get her in right away and also told her to make an appointment with a kidney doctor. From some screw ups with transportation, it sounds like they cancelled the Friday doc appointment and the doc ended up calling the sister (and pissing her off since golly gee, it was interrupting her umpteenth vacation prep!). They mentioned something about ER but said they'll delay and send the nurse out on Monday (today) to take more blood to test. It sounds like her kidneys are failing though she says she had no idea and doesn't feel different. Hopefully it was just a wonky test.

The first contact with the feds regarding the Audit of Doom is tomorrow. Bosslady is making minimal effort and had me try to write some stuff so yeah, that's going as poorly as expected.

I hope your mom just had a weird test result and everything is fine.

Do they have any senior vans where they live? Here there is a van run by the twp that is free and shows up on time, picks you up on time (sometimes can get there earlier than scheduled if you call when you are ready to leave). PA also has a service run by each bus company for elderly and disabled that goes door to door, but involves more paperwork. Might be hard to schedule last minute, but might be easier than getting your sister off her keester to do anyting.

They did finally figure out the town's senior bus but there was a miscommunication about pick up times and such. It goes door to door but evidently they didn't like that it was set to drop them off two hours earlier than she intended.

Sis is going to evidently be in Hawaii for the next two weeks so yeah...
