WHAT THE HELL?

We just had a 4.8 earthquake. It SHOOK THE SHIT out of my building at work. Well that was NOT FUN.

Since when do we have earthquakes like that in NEW JERSEY?

I looked on my home cameras and kitties are likely hiding under the bed. Figures I'd just turned off the cameras where they were chilling next to the window and now they're nowhere to be found

lots of stuff is happening that 'never happens here'. Earthquakes are scary, hope you are okay!

Several years ago at my previous department that's about half a mile away, we had an earthquake but the one today felt stronger. Crazy!

I remember two rather strong ones when I was living in my old apartment. They are scary, aren't they? You know what they are but they feel kind of surreal. Kitties will be okay but glad to see you!

I see you just had a smaller aftershock. Doesn't sound like it was strong enough to do any damage, but I think you better order some kitty treats and Diane treats for this evening for stress control.

Huh. I didn't feel the aftershock nor did the kitties react since I was home by then. It's odd since according to USGS, that was closer to me.

The first one was a doozy, though. Yeah, we can all use some stress relief.
