I know one thing she'll say is "oh, call us if you can't get a sooner appointment!" and I will let her know that I did and firmly got told that the 18th was the soonest. I'll also ask if she read my messages or checked my labs and whether she has any brilliant insight there.
This practice is supposed to be one of those supportive concierge ones and clearly they've taken on too many patients or are having administrative issues since they're just about to change names again from another takeover.
I did some looking on my insurance site about available doctors and there's one that's a possibility that's connected with a larger medical group that I already deal with ok enough when I was going to the rheumatologist. I get that they're overworked and understaffed but you're right that the state of medicine is abysmal. I hear it's global, unfortunately.
