Poor ol' JonJon. I think it's finally dawned on him that his adoptive sister isn't coming home and he's stopped eating consistently which is naturally freaking me out when I am already having trouble dealing with stress. It also likely didn't help that I went on a small clearing spree and changing the environment is probably giving him anxiety so I stopped that for now.

I mean dude, you weren't using the living room box anyway so why does it matter if it's gone (along with the trashcan next to it and the mini screen that blocked it from general view)? He did seem to take well to me getting new bedding and that's his primary hangout area now. I had to keep covering everything with layers of towels for the girl's sickbed area so that's probably why he was leery to hang out there after she didn't come back.

I tried some spray that's supposed to be good for stress but it doesn't seem to be having an effect. Hopefully with encouragement and consistency he'll get back on track.

I wanted to go to the pool at the Y today but my stomach is not being happy so I'll try tomorrow instead. I also steamed a potato for lunch in the hopes that it soaks up tummy acid.
