I've been feeling off for a few weeks which isn't unexpected with all the stress of the house and the crazy winter weather and work and probably menopause stuff (You know that left behind ovary ain't doing shit). I can't stay asleep, I'm constantly achy, my stomach's a mess, my blood sugar isn't testing that well, just ALL THE YUCK. I mentally told myself even though I turned her down before, since on top of everything, I gained 7 pounds in the last three months, if she asks about taking a GLP-1, I'll say yes this time. I'm paranoid as hell about side effects and things like pancreatitis (since I'm the kween of side effects) but I'm more afraid of my health continuing to decline and my diabetes getting worse so I need the chemical help. Hey [personal profile] spiffikins it'll be monjauro so if you have any advice, let me know all the gory details.

The snow has compacted with the somewhat warmer temperatures but I still need to dig a path to my driver's side car door and push the snow off the top and front. If the script gets filled by then, I'll go pick it up. But I won't start the first dose until after I do my regular blood tests, since I want to know my baseline. I made an appointment for my fasting tests for Tuesday morning so maybe I'll start it then if I have it in hand.

Oh and just for tracking's sake, got the pneumonia jab. Guess that makes me officially old (or in piss poor health).
