The icon fits

So at 10am, I have my annual review with Bosslady as mandated by the University. Yeah, who fucking cares? Not me.

I'm doing my job to the best of my ability, hindered only by her complete and total inaction to run the program and to ever answer any of my emails or questions. I'll have to figure out a way to say that tactfully. I think possibly "I have concerns about the program." or some such.

We'll see.

The brief update

Yeah, wasn't much of a review. She seriously just said "You're doing great" and then we had a brief discussion about how shit is a mess and she acknowledges that it's mostly her fault and she supposedly will get right on that. Yep, sure. gotcha.

If I do end up finding a better job and putting in my notice, she can't possibly be surprised. Because if I'm doing so great, then why would you think I'd settle for being SO undervalued and never promoted? Am I going to bother to ask for a promotion? No. Because I'm done with empty promises.

I did at least like the mention of now that business moron reports into the business office instead of her, that maybe we can get someone ELSE to start doing our accounts. That would be awesome. Don't see it happening but maybe when we have to give funds back to the feds, she can use it as an argument. I mean the guy SHOULD be warning her about underspent grant funds.
