Ooo, this is interesting. The most recent position that I applied for, I received a call just now to set up a Zoom interview for this coming Monday the 17th. Hopefully the cats behave lol
It figures that Bosslady FINALLY responded to my years of requests and I sent out emails last week to try to get proposals from seventeen different faculty and also have requested information to get four other projects rolling. Oh and I am collecting effort reporting that I made due in early August.
Suffice it to say if I'm offered the position (it would be a lateral move but still might come with a pay bump), she's honestly completely fucked since she elected to get me no help so I run the entire land-grant research process. But that's not my problem.
I mean when you know and have told someone that they should be two pay grades higher but then screw them over by saying you'll not give them an upgrade out of spite, do you expect that they won't look for someplace else to work?
We'll see how this goes.
EDIT: Oh and did I mention that I'm the only one set up to apply for our millions of dollars in funding and they haven't put out this year's call yet?
