It’s time to start thinking about Halloween and all the critters that go bump in the night.
1. Will you buy a pumpkin to carve or just leave it uncarved for decoration?
I have an uncarved small white pumpkin with orange stripes and speckles. Going to remain uncarved.
2. When was the last time, if ever, you went trick or treating?
Back in the 1980s when I was a teen. Though my siblings and I tried to stop trick or treating but our neighborhood didn't have many kids and was a busy road so the neighbors across the street would call us and tell us to put on costumes so they could see us and give us candy lol
3. Did you or your folks ever buy into that urban legend about razor blades in candy and screen it before you were allowed to eat anything?
Not really. We were in a small city and knew most all of the people we trick or treated. My parents knew that if there was a house we weren't sure about, we avoided it.
4. What was the ultimate ‘treat’ to get that night?
Full size candy bars!
5. Be honest, did you ever trick anyone because they didn’t come across?
Nope. We avoided the houses we didn't know and the dark ones. Tricking wasn't a thing when I was a kid - at least not in my small neighborhood.
