Doc wasn't too overly worried about my cootie report. Emily guessed right again that 1)e Coli is pretty much already in your system and 2)The other bacteria I likely picked up in the hospital from the catheter. However, since I have the risk factors with the healing open wound, being chonky and diabetes, we're going to do a short course of Cipro to make sure things don't get full blown yucky. I haven't had symptoms but better to at least exercise a bit of caution.
When we get the text from the pharmacy, we'll go pick it up...and maybe some lunch from the nearby Chinese place to take home. It's cool and VERY rainy so that would hit the spot. I could go for some soup.
We stopped by HMart earlier so I got some extra yakult and between that and kimchi, hopefully I avoid side effects of the Cipro.
Oh and since it's almost a month since surgery, with my checkup on Monday, it's also time for the internal exam to make sure that's healing. YUCK.
Today's the two year anniversary of Mom's death. So going to try to be pretty chill the rest of the day today.
