If you're anti-LGBTQIA - especially the T, unfriend me please. No need to let me know you're doing it, either. Just begone, please.
I couldn't make a reply to a LJ post today because my feelings about how awful JKR is are strong. Today she was trending again because she confirmed her hateful views again by very bluntly comparing Trans people to the enemy in her books.

Does she have the right to free speech, sure, she's freely spewing her hate all over the place by riling up her base trying to say that trans people are a threat to CIS women. Staticstics show that it's quite the opposite - especially for black trans women. It's not "cultish" to not want to support someone that has those views or to say that her views have spoiled my and others feelings about enjoying her works. Separating the art from the artist is difficult when it comes to views that harm others and normalilze people hating trans people which lead to people killing them - such as Brianna Ghey.
The right wing in this nation have started passing laws to try to eliminate trans people altogether. They were pretty open and blunt about their views recently.
There's been a lot of drama recently on TikTok because a female "comedian" went after Trans activist Jeffrey Marsh and spliced videos taken from their 18+ Patreon to make it seem as if they were trying to groom kids - which was a lie. The comedian took down her videos, citing that she and her children were receiving vague threats (but she's done this before on other topics and then slapped up a GoFundMe and grifted people). She has millions of followers and now she's claiming for everyone on "both sides" to stop being hateful without ever making any apology for going after the trans person and they receive death threats - even more now that she's riled them up to cause harm with her lies.
Even if you think that Trans people are a threat...unlike...say the youth pastors and other clergy that identify as CIS-Het men and there seems to be stories about DAILY of them being busted for child porn and sexual assault, you might want to ask yourself why you're so biased toward the ones that statistically aren't the problem.
There's been lies and hate spread about Trans folks, drag queens, gay folks and it's close to turning into LAWS in states. Tennessee just passed a bill to allow clerks based on their "faith" not only to refuse marriage of not just gay people but also interracial and even interfaith people. No one is safe nowadays.
Yes, JK Rowling is free to regurgitate whatever bile-filled opinions she wants. And I and others are free to call her out for her dangerous opinions and refuse to support her financially.

Michael Knowles tells CPAC that "there can be no middle way in dealing with transgenderism. ... Transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely." https://t.co/57hJF4frgq pic.twitter.com/szvnC1qWrP
