Fortunately the concert was good fun and the rain wasn't too bad for the trip there or back. Also, we didn't even need the ponchos I bought since we were in the parking garage where we managed to snag a disabled space. Not only that, we were able to enter via the bridge linking the garage to the venue so we didn't have to go far or go outside. That means we did miss the people giving away things though when we were leaving, we saw that they'd left a box full of the banners that people were to hold so we snagged several as souvenirs.
We had stopped at a WaWa (convenience store for those not on this coast) and got sandwiches since we didn't know what the deal was going to be like at the Prudential Center or how long we might have to wait in the car before wandering up to go in. So we sat and munched our stuff and watched folks file in wearing whatever concert fashion struck their fancy. We were amused by the ones that had carrot costumes (the fandom is called "Carat" like diamond, but people have had fun with the comparison for years) and several people wearing tiger onesies for the one member, Hoshi, who sells himself as a tiger.
We got in and did the required female potty run and wandered a bit, hoping to find giveaways but alas, none. So we went to the lounge area that's before you get to the seats. It was nicely spaced so you didn't feel claustrophobic or unsafe, though we left our masks on most of the time. The bar made a menu of some drinks themed to the concert and though I'm not one to drink, one of them struck my fancy so Emily bought it for me. It was a "Be the Sun" (the title of the tour) and it was Malibu rum, pineapple juice and a splash of cranberry juice. It was right up my alley.

Drink next to my Seventeen lightstick.
Since there wasn't anywhere to sit at the lounge, I took yet another potty break (thankfully right near our seats) and we wandered down to sit and crowdwatch

Right before the concert - sorry for the fuzzies, Emily!
We were trying to link the lightstick to an app but it wouldn't work. However it didn't matter since right as the concert was starting, everyone's lightsticks went out (with the exception of a few random counterfeit ones or ones somehow malfunctioning). Then they came out and BOOM, all the lightsticks came on and they had control of changing everyone's colors and flashing at will. That was so cool. We knew at concerts in Asia that it happened but we were kind of bummed when it didn't happen back in 2020. I guess US venues are getting with the program when it comes to KPop concerts and features.
Unfortunately this ended up being one of those "standing" concerts but I couldn't stand for that long. I stood for the songs that I liked a lot but otherwise just sat and waved my lightstick. It was a good time and I was glad to see Emily had a good time too.
It took a LOT out of me, though. I ended up emailing out for the morning since I was achy and tired and thought it best to avoid stairs and stuff today. I have had issues with insomnia lately but yeah, not after the concert. The kitties had to pester me pretty hard when I was sleeping to get up to feed them.
Next time we will have to save up money and spend a lot extra on box seats. Then we can sit and chill all we want. lol
