Dumb little odd things

I ordered a cheap hard shell case (It's teal and pretty) and an equally cheap gel keyboard protector (in rainbow!) for my new cheap Chromebook. It just arrived but I wasn't sure if the tracking wasn't accurate so I did two passes down and up the stairs. Boy I have no energy.

Anyhoo, about the Chromebook. I hope it's reliable for bill paying and making posts and such but I don't like that it doesn't run software to update my GPS and I'm betting not for other things. Ah well. But here's the real weird thing - there's no delete button. I mean what? So I have to get creative sometimes with clicking and backspace. I guess this operating system doesn't use CTRL-ALT-DEL

Another weird little thing from my stretch of lots of lying on my side. I never really noticed this more but I have to keep reaching up and smoothing my ear back on the pillow. Is this some old lady kind of thing?

I'll see how the sleep - get up and walk off aches - lather, rinse, repeat goes tonight and I'm hoping to try a half day if it's not horrible tomorrow morning getting around. Very glad to see that aside from a few hunks of snow here and there that I can kick aside, it's mostly melted so no shoveling around the car.

Dude. Not fond of Chromebooks. Then again, I'm not fond of ASUS.

I've found myself doing that as well. I think it is an old lady thing, lol!

LOL I used to be a back sleeper but I wasn’t sure

Mine is a Dell Chromebook. They’re supposed to be a reliable OS so we’ll see how it holds up

Dell is a better brand. And if it is using a version of Windows, you should be good. This reminds me of when Vista came out (one of the few Windows I hated)...it didn't have a Recycle bin. I mean...what??? LOL!

It's not using Windows, that's the problem. Chromebooks use a completely independent operating system which I didn't fathom that there would be stuff that you can't download and make work with it.

It's kind of like when it was hard to run stuff on Macs because they didn't have the virtual windows thing or vendors didn't have Mac-based software. Hopefully in time, more makers will offer their software for Chrome OS

Oh, ugh!!! They don't even give you the courtesy of a known OS??? Meh. It took FOREVER to find compatible operating software for Macs. And they are a more widespread PC alternative. This sucks.

I hope they create comparable software faster for Chromebooks. I will have to keep an eye on these bad boys. Teaches me to make assumptions, eh? :D

Oh FUN! Would love to see the new rainbow and teal accessories :D Good for you, that's awesome. I'm still over the moon about my new phone and case I got on Vday--really the case haha. I use a mac laptop so I'm no help with the technology at all ;)

This is the keyboard cover which I absolutely love for the colors and the fact that it makes the keys all soft. It doesn't seem to hinder typing on it at all
