Ups and downs

missdianeI went to Walgreens to go to the Labcorp for a couple of tests that I purchased directly from them (the cortisol one turned out fine but the CRP one is high. Ugh). I don't want to start statins so I'm crossing my fingers that the higher dose of Mounjaro that I'm starting today helps with that.
Anyway, while there, for some reason the only NIVEA that I could find was a small and expensive tube of hand lotion so I skipped that one. I did find a Walgreens dupe for a CeraVe light night cream and got that. Yesterday I lightly rinsed my face with cool water then applied the Trader Joe's cream in the afternoon and the night cream overnight and the face is starting to feel more normal. Today a biotin blend vitamin showed up so I took one and fingers crossed that it helps the skin and nails.
The YouTube monetization thing is surprising. I thought that I'd get like 30 cents a day or something but it's been monetized only since Sunday morning and according to the estimate, the first two days I earned $20. Whoa. Well we'll see how this goes. The video where I'm doing a whole montage of corporate jargon goes up tomorrow at 2pm and I found it pretty funny. What's kind of weirding me out about it, though, is that I noticed that I am acting a LOT like my brother. With his gestures and everything. Yikes. I'll have to send it to my sister when it's out so she can judge it lol. I still don't talk to my brother but that's on him.
There are some ways to get some other funding via YouTube such as brand sponsorships and sharing of music royalties on certain songs. I'll have to see about those once things hopefully continue to grow. At the moment we're at about 2150+ followers.

Emily used to do Lego videos early on but they really weren't getting a lot of traction so we're thinking about having her do history - mostly British royal history - content.
