As if I didn't just order more new food, although JonJon's thyroid is still doing well, his kidney values are starting to creep up there and though I need to get the girl in for a checkup, I'm betting since they're the same age that she's probably starting to get there too.
I've been wondering for a while about switching them to a senior diet and it sounds like it's definitely time. I would prefer to do commercially available foods rather than prescription since especially JuneBug is so ridiculously picky. Since they are my first ever pets, I've not done this before so anyone have recommendations on non-prescription senior cat foods or additives? Thanks in advance.

Date: 2023-02-14 07:53 pm (UTC)The I and Love and You foods that I've been feeding them are a lot higher in phosphorus than I'd like so I'm going to have to start phasing them out. The Weruva foods I just got aren't too bad, thankfully.
This Weruva one is very low in phosphorus so I might get some to give them intermittently

My vet also recommended seeing if they'll consume this Hydracare stuff since that should also help with their poo issues
