This isn't good AT ALL

I did a quick check on the local goings on Facebook and my local police had posted an alert about a big fire near the apartments where I used to live a couple of miles from where I am now and that it's closed off roads near there. I quickly screenshotted it and sent it to Emily since that's her path home and she needs to take a different route and possibly try to leave earlier. She needs to be home for when the adult day care drops off her mom with dementia. Even worse, the adult day care is on the road that's closed so who knows what's going on there.

Then just minutes after that, we get a notification that there's a brush fire near Rutgers Gardens which is closer to where I work. I put a comment on the local FB page about the Rutgers fire and they said there are many brush fires around our county right now. There's been warnings about fires since it's been dry the last several days but DAMN all at once? This is kind of scary!

I also have a post about some other weird conversations at work but that's for another time. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow morning. It's been SO busy today and my brain is exhausted.

EDIT: There are sudden fires all around, the Northeast Corridor line from NY Penn to Trenton is shut down and I just found this
"NEW: Middlesex Co. Dept of Public Safety says a freight train emitting sparks caused the brush fires currently burning in several towns"

Norfolk Southern AGAIN? These freaking freight trains are a menace

Holy moly - now I'm visualizing a train careening down the rails, spitting sparks and leaving a trail of brushfires behind it - that's wild!

Also we are in topsy turvy world, where California is drowning and you guys are having wildfires in March!
