Wish us luck this morning
May. 19th, 2023 08:05 amJuneBug gets spring allergies, so it's not uncommon to deal with fussy appetite, sneezing, etc. But more and more she's had this weird fast wheeze kind of thing and it's happening too often for comfort. So I called the vet on Wednesday and they're able to fit her in at 10am this morning.
Because the timing is always like this, my back had been mildly acting up before this and started acting up more overnight Wednesday. I took off work yesterday to rest as much as possible. Oh and my upper trapezius is all nicely spasmed up too. Greeeat. Hopefully cat wrangling and carrier hefting up and down stairs doesn't put everything out completely.
I'm hoping the fact that it's Friday helps some that they figure out what's going on with her, that it's easily treatable and we have the weekend to chill out and wait for the usual hissing and such to play out.

Date: 2023-05-19 01:11 pm (UTC)Could be a cough? They like a combination of choking and sneezing. Right now both Moon and I are both sneezing and I'm coughing a lot and my eyes itch.
We also have a baby robin who got into my fenced yard last evening and is still here. He just keeps chirping sadly and apparently can't fly higher than a couple feet. Trying to decide if opening the gate and shooing him out will at least let him find worms to eat or if it will just make him a meal for stray cats. Since he will probably starve here, I think it might be better to let him take his chances in the wild. Moon would love to have him in the house, but that would be a really short life.

Well, letting the baby out will either give him a chance or end his turmoil more quickly. Either way, better than slowly starving
