missdiane Been a fretting mess this week and the fun don't stop. I've hardly been able to get JuneBug to eat for the last few days. Also, while she's peeing (I don't know HOW since she's not drinking water and a small amount of food and tube treats can't be giving her much hydration), she's not pooed since Tuesday morning. She wants to eat but I put the food in front of her and nope...
My guess as to what's going on is while the antibiotic seemed to have cleared her head since she can smell now and the sneezing and reverse sneezing have stopped, it likely is making her tummy hurt and well, if she wasn't constipated before, she darned sure is now.
Also, why the hell is she so clever still? They wanted me to give her some gabapentin before dropping her off this morning for ultrasounds but nope, mixed in with the treat didn't fool her - MAYBE one or two small licks - and when I tried using one of JonJon's smaller pills, she licked treat off my fingers and delicately licked around the pill every time. Little goober. Hopefully they'll pill her this morning so she'll be chill and more comfy. I'm telling myself that she's off for a spa day today. THAT IS TOTALLY IT. GETTING MASSAGES AND FACIALS AND STUFF.
While I'm sure your fingers are good and cramped, we appreciate all the well wishes and finger crossing. Hoping for decent news today and also hoping that they can possibly get her to poo and give her something so we can get back to some more normal eating and functioning.

The boy has been watching and worrying but also driving me nuts since when I try to feed her when she asks, he's right there wanting some too. Little opportunist LOL
