I love movies and books where there's a heavy influence of food and cooking. Recently, YouTube recommended some clips from a Chinese drama called Chef Hua (since I have watched K-Dramas and such in the past). I clicked on a few and liked the cute lead actress and also the cooking scenes were just gorgeous. I also like her outspoken, temperamental but protective older sister.

Description from a site
A story about food and romance follows Hua Xiao Mai as she falls in love with a bodyguard.

Through her passion for the culinary arts, Hua Xiao Mai starts small and slowly makes her way up in the food business. She meets the cool-headed Meng Yu Huai who heads up a bodyguard agency and excels in martial arts. With his qualities, he is the definition of a true man. Meng Yu Huai and Hua Xiao Mai become quarrelsome lovers who are sweetly in love.

If you feel like checking it out, I found a playlist with subtitles for the series on YT here at this link

Oh fun! I am bookmarking this.

Some of the women at aqua class were talking about a book they have all been reading - "Lessons in Chemisty" by Bonnie Garmus - it's a historical fiction novel, and the protagonist is a female chemist in the 60s who ends up the star of a cooking show - your post reminded me about this and I had to look it up and add it to my list too :)
