Sis texted the guy that she was working with to get Mom in the facility and he and his boyfriend went over and fixed Mom up with phone and TV. So that's a start at least.

Dad is hanging out with Mom but he seems especially confused today. When I called him this morning he also seemed really scrambled. I hope he can get some rest tonight and be more coherent tomorrow.

Your sister is a force to be reckoned with now that she's found her superpower! This is great. I do hope they do something to help your Dad soon,though. How difficult for you to be so far away...and yet, if you weren't, perhaps your sister would be leaning a lot harder on you.

My sister is a hair stylist and has a huge clientele. Dealing with people is her speciality. lol

Well, if she's got the guy coming in on the weekend, he was going to be looking over Dad's paperwork this week so maybe we can expedite it. Having them both in the same place, even if it's not the place where they're going to stay long term still seems important.

I hope your dad can be expedited and get a room. Having them in the same place is important imo. FWIW. Even if it is not long term at least for now they could be together and your dad is fed and cared for, be able to sleep longer. Some of the small things can add up and improve his daily quality of life.

That's great that the fellow was able to go over on the weekend to get your Mom's phone and TV going. That goes a long way toward making her feel less isolated.

Your poor father! It must be so difficult for him, and for you. I have everything crossed that you can soon get him in the same facility.
