The kittynapping went well. Naturally she wasn't pleased about the snatch n cram but the pathetic meowing only lasted until I had her carrier buckled in the car. The trip to the new vet wasn't bad at all and the staff and doctor at this location were SO nice that I might consider trying to go to this location as the regular one if it's available, even though it's a few miles further.

The exam went well and we talked about the options. Since her lungs and other guts sounded ok, we opted for the same antibiotic as last time since she does have the intermittent sneezing, reverse sneezing (GOD that always sounds awful) and an uptick in her eye boogers. If she continues to have issues, then we'll go for blood work and talk about options like an inhaler. I can't successfully pill either cat currently - believe me, I've tried - so hope I can avoid that option.

Since both Junie and I didn't get as stressed as we usually do for vet stuff, hissing has been minimal and hopefully stays that way. Both kitties have had their noontime snack and we're all chilling. May it continue.

Awww, I'm glad JuneBug and you came through the appointment without too much trauma. Sure hope the antibiotic does its work and gives her some relief.

It certainly hasn't killed her appetite yet. Girl's been driving me NUTS for food all day. Also *knock wood* no sneezing or wheezing today. Hope it continues

She looks like she survived and maybe has considered forgiving you already.

Have you tried Greenies Pill Pockets? I may have recommended them already is they are the only way to get my guy to take pills. I have to wrap the pill in a pocket and then stick that to a crunchy Greenie, but once he trained me to do that, he hasn't missed a single pill.

Yep, tried those. The girl KNOWS. If I have to start to pill her, we'll just have to eventually come to an agreement (and possibly start with purritoing)

She definitely bounced back quickly from this visit. She thought about hiding but that lasted all of 15 seconds when I energetically offered both of them squishy treats. A couple of sniffs and she hissed at him and that's it.

I thought she'd be lethargic and such but that girl has been pestering me for treats after treats after treats RELENTLESSLY since we got back. I gave in for now only since I'm betting once the antibiotic really takes effect, she might refuse food later this evening. Which I'm not going to worry about.

SHE came home with vet scent and SHE hissed at JonJon? When JonJon goes to the vet, Junie also hisses at him? So anything vet related is JonJon's fault. Ooookay.

She's a cute little sassypants that likes her butt spanked. You'd think with the air cleaners and vacuuming and everything that the kiddo wouldn't get so stuffed up but I get it since I have chronic sinusitis that is totally random sometimes.
