Not a shock that Sis isn't doing well enough after gallbladder surgery to pick Dad up from the nursing home to celebrate with them. But then I got a call from Dad about half an hour ago that he has bright bloody diarrhea, though fortunately he told the nurse so they will probably have to take him to the hospital. I texted Sis and BIL to keep them in the loop and obviously they are about done with life and everything. I get you, guys, I really do. No point in trying to contact the brother - he probably has me blocked anyway.

My back is still not cooperating much so while I'll try to cook the turkey thighs I bought so I don't have to throw them away, not exactly going to be doing much today except cramping the hell out of my fingers crossing them.

Thanks. Hoping for the best seems to be all we've got right now. I hope the BIL is smart enough to enlist some HELP getting the stuff moved from the parents apartment to perhaps their garage over the holiday weekend since things are up in the air (he says he's not feeling well either)

Yikes, what a hell of a mess everything is right now. I'm so sorry for this, especially for your father and his situation. Do hope whatever the ailment is, it is quickly resolved.
