There's a good deal of clutter but every now and then, I learn something big on TikTok. Emily sent me a video by a doctor that she knew would make my jaw drop as well as justify long-standing issues that I have. I have hypermobility and possibly Ehlers-Danlos (like PCOS, one of those hard-to-diagnose disorders)

So my "what weird side effect will I get" is likely caused by EDS? Looking it up further, yep, it's a thing

Sort of. Still frustrating to deal with but at least I feel validated that my concerns are NOT just "in my head."

Oh, yeah, no, that's definitely a thing. A very annoying thing when you're at the dentist. (Which... damn, I need a new appointment for a cleaning soon, I'm overdue.)

Interestingly the dentist is the only one where I don't typically have a problem since the numbing lasts SO VERY long on me.

I'm very overdue too. Just everything else takes priority. Blah.

EXACTLY. I wondered if I was just being some sort of weird whiner and turns out that my paranoia is justified. Still sucks but yep, vindication. Definitely sharing with my GP
