So I got my lab results back. Could be better but also, IS better on most things. On another page, my Vitamin D is up to a nicely respectable 38 now which from what I can find is the "optimal" range. About time. I started battling that years ago when it was a pretty disturbing 14 and struggled to fight to get above 20. I take 2000 IU a day and some of the other things I consume are also fortified.
Anyhoo, here's me for tracking purposes and all compared to the February numbers. It links out to the original size

My morning glucose is always about that level no matter what I seem to do. But by the improved A1c, it is averaging lower through the day so getting there.
Yeah yeah yeah about the cholesterol but DAMN look at the improvement in triglycerides.
I'm guessing the BUN/Creatine levels - out of range since BUN went up - can be attributed somewhat by yes, I have the not that fun gastro issues with Metformin about half the days. It's not intolerable but clearly I need to improve things like diet, sleep and most importantly STRESS LEVELS and that might balance out.
Every day has a new and not fun stress so no clue when that'll manage to improve but I'll try.

Date: 23 May 2024 20:05 (UTC)Even on metformin for PCOS at the time, my A1c was always in the prediabetic range and statins can raise blood sugar levels so considering that and the other potential side effects, I refuse to take them.
