I suppose it doesn't really matter that the ashes are mixed together in the teeny tiny urn but I was kind of hoping they'd be in separate bags to possibly do separate keepsakes.

JuneBug is in the box they're sitting on. She'll keep them entertained.

Your father would probably be thrilled, after all he'll be with your Mom. . And I' m with your mom, I love suncatchers. These are such nice things. After my folks died, they were dispatched into the source of much of our drinking water (Lake Ontario) by request. Off the boat launch at Westcott State Park.

Aside from the UK, I couldn't think of anyplace in particular that they'd want to be spread. Though they really did love visiting me in NJ. I'm still considering whether to get a little 1'x1' cremains plot where Emily's Dad is buried

between the time Mom died and Dad died, Dad kept her ashes on his dresser. My Dad had a deep voice and it was an old house. Sometimes at night when he went to bed, he would talk to my mother and I would hear him. Not what he said, but his rumbly voice.

Now your folks are both with you, you can talk to them

Aww That's a sweet and sad memory.

I really have been feeling their presence more now that I have some of their ashes. I will definitely make a keepsake but I'm not sure yet what to do with the rest of the ashes themselves, if anything.
