Xanax to the rescue
Aug. 26th, 2025 02:50 pmStill pretty doped up and will lie down for a nap soon but taking one and a half xanax is what made the biopsy doable because DAMN that hurt like hell. Results should be in about a week to make sure that the surgery Oct 1 can be done without involving oncology and stuff.

Date: 2025-08-27 01:55 pm (UTC)Having an oncologist in the OR is actually normal now for cases where the GYN has any doubts. My friend had 2 uterine biopsies: one suspicious and one clean, and had the oncologist in the OR when they did the hysterectomy, just as a precaution. The oncologist was able to tell her she didn't have cancer as soon as she woke up rather than waiting a few days for the pathologist's report (which agreed she was fine.)
