missdianeThe statistics showed earlier this week that the monetization on YT should have kicked in but they were so sloooooowly giving me my "verified" watch hours bit by bit. But then this morning I logged into the studio and it gave me the option to set up ads finally. Yay! I left the option unchecked on the mid-roll ads since I don't want people getting halfway through a soothing ASMR video only to have VERY LOUD AD kick in. I'm very curious as to how much monetization there is. I'll see, I suppose!
The sudden influx of subscribers has boggled my mind but well...ok? I'm now past 2000 subscribers. I do notice that you get more dislikes (and likes) on your video the more that they push it out but I'm trying not to take the dislikes personally.
Right now I'm watching one of the Korean life vlogs that I follow. It amuses me on this one and another that I follow about American things that suddenly become trendy there. Last week it was learning that the Chili's restaurant is very popular there. And today it was learning that this stuff, the Fritos cheap cheese sauce is sold out everywhere because people want to dip their fried chicken into it
Seriously? This stuff? It's barely a step up from spray cheese (which that is probably only still around to trick dogs into taking pills.)
I will admit to the guilty pleasure of still liking the Fritos bean dip, though. lol
