I saw a potential listing this morning. I have absolutely NO expectation of an interview or getting it but I'm super qualified so why not?
Title: Assistant Director of Special Projects
Department: Executive VP for Academic Affairs

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Provides independent, confidential, executive-level support to the VPAPA – COS and manages the day-to-day office operations and procedures.
Provides high-level support and manages a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the EVPAA office, in collaboration with the Chief of Staff and the Senior Executive Associate.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and working knowledge of administration, work organization, project management, communications, and/or report writing principles and practices.
Five years of related experience working for a senior level administrator with demonstrated executive level organizational and decision making skills.

Excellent oral and written communications skills, attention to detail, attention to the subject matter involved, and complete accuracy in all tasks required.
Must have working knowledge of word processing, presentation, project management and spreadsheet programs.
Requires excellent attendance, work habits, ability to effectively multitask and to maintain confidentiality.
Comprehensive knowledge of Rutgers University policies, procedures, and organizational structure desired.
Requires exceptional organizational and project management skills, written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information.
It's a lateral move BUT it is also out of my crappy union so I see that as an upgrade. But meh, I'm not getting my hopes up.
In the meantime, fulfilling menial tasks assigned this week by Bosslady. What a waste of paper:

I'm going to head out a little early around 11 to make a detour to Trader Joe's and maybe the Lidl near there to get a few odds and ends. This weekend might be a good ol' monsoon so I'm not anticipating going anywhere.
Mom's transport to the new place is scheduled for 3:30 this afternoon. Hopefully all goes well and that I can get a phone number for her more easily than the last time. Dad will be super nervous if I can't get that. Sis has given him the realistic estimate that it might take some months to sort out getting him qualified and while he wasn't happy about that (the quiet is already getting to him), I said that it's better to expect a long wait and hopefully we are pleasantly surprised with something sooner.
For as much as I hate talking on the phone, I have a feeling that I better keep my phone charged for a good while.
