I could hazard a guess about a few folks. This one was a pretty decent version of the personality test that I've taken many a time to check to see if anything changed

Not surprisingly, it confirmed yet again that I'm type ISTJ though I don't know if I agree with the assessment about friendship. However the work style...embarassingly spot on. I didn't know about that last type that puts me in "turbulent" which is also correct.

Anyone else care to play along?

I'm an INFJ. It can't be helped I suppose. Lots of times people mistake me for the more extroverted ENFJ - but I'm really not.

What about the last bit - assertive or turbulent? I hadn't seen that show up on any previous test.

I could totally see you being an INFJ. The "E" part people perceive as you know is all for show. Some people that don't know me think E when I have to turn on the razzle dazzle and I'm anything but.

Yes, I can be very sociable - but the fact is if it's raining I still choose the crypt under the Church in which to read my book during the lunch hour. Normal people read their books in the staff kitchen, they don't pick the empty stone medieval crypt with the one entrance.

I know my type gets on well with the rational scientist types such as yourself though. We like you apparently and can work with you. It's the impulsive artists types my Group can't cope with.

Once my work neighbor is back to work (she had hernia surgery on Thursday), I'm going to make her take the test. There's no doubt at all that she's an "E" but the rest would be interesting to know. Definitely think "F" is in there too. She seems to think being an "I" is some sort of malady which I remind her that it isn't and give her "the look." lol

Apparently, ENFJs are genuine, caring people who talk the talk and walk the walk, and nothing makes them happier than leading the charge, uniting and motivating their team with infectious enthusiasm, bu we tend to get carried away with other people's problems, taking them on as our own (oh, boy, they got that in one)

I got borderline assertive. Reviewing the questions, I think what they are looking at isn't "assertiveness" but more calmness versus being emotionally reactive.

INTP-T. Some of these tests peg me as INTJ and I do have some of those qualities, but INTP is a better fit overall. "They are often conducting full-fledged debates in their own heads" pretty much describes 90% of my average day.

Very true! But, as silly as it sounds, I actually get myself quite worked up doing it as I'm usually attacking my own beliefs from the opposite point of view. Plus I can't turn it off, so I've lain awake literally the entire night many times, rehashing the same debate I've already had with myself a hundred times before. It's very weird.
