People are schooling her and her equally assholic husband on FB about not being allowed to trap other people's pets. They're actually trying to use the excuse that cats aren't native to the United States. For real?

I got news for her - cats have been here longer than her.

I don't know if they'll continue their pointless discussion but I did make a remark that European humans brought the cats they claim are "not native" and that humans are certainly MUCH more destructive to birds than cats.

Isn't that the truth? It is the cat's instincts to hunt, even little Bête Noir who has never been on her own has all the makings of a birder. We certainly didn't teach it to her.
