You know it's going to be a real shit fest when the president of Rutgers has already preemptively called a snow day for tomorrow.

I had already emailed Bossman this morning asking to work from home which he oked. Technically I don't "have" to work since the University will be closed but it won't be all that big a deal to read and edit some reports so I don't get ridiculously behind.

It is a big ease off the mind that I don't have to waste a vacation day, though.

Stay in and stay safe!! The weather is wacky right now. In Louisville yesterday it was 69, which just isn't normal for February. That's normally our coldest month. Tonight I just came back inside after taking the dogs out and it's snowing like a damn blizzard. Big Honkin' flakes and the temps are going into the teens overnight. I mean, WTF?

But there is no climate change or global warming.

There were record highs yesterday in the 60s here too. It's nuts!

Nope, totally not. No climate change. I've been wondering whether the reports that our folks doing climate change studies on will stay up on the USDA research site.

Hooray for Snow Days! You can work in your pajamas. I hope you and the kitties have enough supplies.

We do, thanks sweetie *hugs*

I was just getting ready to start editing some reports. I figure if I get a good chunk of them out of the way early, I won't feel guilty for slacking after that

I'm glad it's now snowing! From about 3ish to 6ish, it was rain then freezing rain (eek!) then sleet. Now the flakes are falling.

When I got home from the vet with JonJon, I made sure to park my car further back in my parking spot so I have room at the front for shoveling and if need be tomorrow, for rocking the car back and forth to get out
