The forecast has been updated that starting later tonight and through tomorrow, we're now under a blizzard warning with a minimum of 18 inches of snow up to 24+ inches. Greeeeeeeat.

Yesterday while at Target getting that body pillow (really helped, by the way), I found a collapsable shovel on clearance at Target today and bought it and left it on my downstairs neighbor's porch as a gift. She keeps forgetting to buy one and she's certainly going to need one.

As thanks, she left me a full quart of homemade chicken corn chowder with dumplings. I think I got the better end of this deal.

Thanks. They haven't closed the University yet (aside from the lucky kids on spring break). But there is NO way I'm going in during a blizzard. If they don't close, I'm wagering that the staff unions are going to revolt.

Not looking forward to all the digging but that soup will help! I'm also thinking I will make a crock pot of congee on Tuesday to eat for the rest of the week and I'll have to give some to the nice neighbor.

I was watching the storm earlier on the weather channel, it looks like it will be bad. Shouldn't the blizzard conditions mean many places should close down so employees are not out trying to get to work and then having accidents, etc? Do roads close?

Good to hear the body pillow is helping and you're sleeping better. The soup sounds good too. Not tried to make any more congee but I've read several recipes I want to try.
