Back of the damned
Nov. 25th, 2017 03:15 pmHad a good enough Thanksgiving dinner EXCEPT my damned back is acting up yet again. It really, really, really wants to go out completely so I have to lie down a lot which is tedious and annoying. Only if I can manage to avoid the week down with spasms will I consider the last five months of going to the gym worth all the trouble.
Though I still sorely need to eat better and when I say "better" I mean "less." I have GOT to get control of my nervous nibbles and drop some weight to take the stress off the back.
May babble more later if I can sit up for longer.

Date: 2017-11-25 09:49 pm (UTC)I'm crossing my fingers that I'm feeling well enough tomorrow to be upright for most of the day. Bonus points if I can get to the gym to slowly and carefully trudge on the treadmill.

Date: 2017-11-26 03:51 pm (UTC)If it's happening around holidays (which also seem to coincide with big stress times at work), I'd bet it's mostly stress-related too.
Fingers crossed that the exercise helps - have you tried something like yoga or tai-chi?

Date: 2017-11-26 09:21 pm (UTC)I need to improve my eating habits too. This time of year when I start feeling extra tired and groggy and tend to overdo the sugar and caffeine.
Feel better soon <3
