Leftovers yay or nay?

I posted this poll on the FB Food Porn community I belong to and it's rather popular this morning so I thought I'd post it here too for fun. Feel free to share! Background reason - coworker and I ordered Chinese yesterday and she looked disappointed because when she was throwing out her leftovers, I said I was saving mine to eat the next day.

I always save my leftovers! That's lunch the next day.

I know, right? Coworker started whining a few minutes ago because I won't abandon my leftovers and get a "fresh" lunch with her. She never packs a lunch either. Yesterday was an exception where we ordered out and I'm not wasting money or food by tossing it out and ordering another lunch. If I didn't have my leftovers in the office fridge, I would've packed today.

Coworker sounds like she has a problem. Leftovers can be even better than the first time!

My Chinese leftovers I just had were excellent (though it helped that I brought some shrimp to toss in, heh)

It surprises me the number of people who don’t or won’t eat leftovers. I love leftovers, whether it is from a restaurant meal or something I’ve cooked myself. The fact that I tend to cook most of our meals at home, I plan meals in order to have leftovers more often than not. They usually taste just as good as leftovers (fish/seafood is an exception to the rule) and it gives me a break from spending a lot of time in the kitchen.
