I started my holiday break with my back going out late Xmas Eve. I was upright enough finally this morning to go outside to throw my trash away and make sure my car functioned by driving it around the neighborhood. I resisted trying to go to a store since I knew that would be too much.

Then I get a message from Emily that her niece has Covid and she was rapid testing. So far she's showing as negative but she's the only person that I've seen at all during break when we exchanged Xmas gifts and when she brought me a sweet treat.

But I swear if I end my break Covid positive....well then I guess I'll buy some lottery tickets at the place that sells the rapid tests since my luck has to turn SOMEFUCKINGTIME.

Sounds like the odds of you having it are pretty long, so if you do beat the odds and get sick, the lottery ticket may be a good idea.

I overdid it yesterday with the back. I hope I’m not back to square one but there will be a lot of laying down today
